I WOULD LOVE TO EAT THE MOON – أريد أن آكل القمر

Once upon a time, Hala wishes to eat the moon because of how round and tasty it appears to be. It reminds her of a yummy bun. The next day, she is surprised to see that the moon has grown smaller in size and believes she had eaten it during her sleep. To hide this, she creates circle cutouts of papers and hangs them on all the windows of the house, which in turn puzzles her mother. After a good talk with her mom, she learns the faces of the moon and is relieved forever. I Would Love to Eat the Moon tells the humorous tale of a little girl who panics thinking she ate the moon, and explains the faces of the moon with a lighthearted illustrative narrative.
