GHAYA AND THE SERPENT – غاية والحنيش

Lovely and beautiful Ghaya fares badly at the hands of her stepmother but finds an unlikely savior in a serpent she encounters and takes pity on. The serpent helps her out and goes home with her. It asks her to trust and marry it and promises to make her happy for the rest of her life. Ghaya’s father accepts after Ghaya’s begging and asking and throws them a small ceremony. To Ghaya’s surprise, the serpent transforms into a handsome sheikh from a royal family. Ghaya and the Serpent is an uplifting fairytale about justice and how good people get the good they deserve and the wicked do not stay in glory for too long.
